More About Us
Our Focus Areas
The NHDA is the leading organization for companies providing or facilitating the final-mile delivery and set-up of bulky goods, such as furniture, appliances, electronics, and exercise equipment. The association’s focus is in four main areas:
-
creating new professional development opportunities within the segment
-
advocacy on behalf of the industry
-
building connections within the industry
-
developing segment specific research to assist members in benchmarking their organizations
NHDA offers leading events and programs throughout the year. Our Annual Forum and Leadership Retreat are recognized as the premier thought-leadership events in our industry, while our virtual webinar and member call series delivers substantive insights from subject matter experts on key industry topics. The Women in Home Delivery Council networking reception rounds out the calendar, creating space for collaboration and peer-to-peer networking.
The NHDA Foundation supports the NHDA Leadership Institute, a yearly class offering a three-part professional development course in partnership with High Point University.
Councils meet and host program and events focused on:
-
Women in Home Delivery
-
Risk Management
-
Advocacy
-
Sustainability
The National Home Delivery Association Foundation's mission is to advance educational and other charitable activities on behalf of the association and the bulky goods delivery industry.
In addition to the Leadership Institute, the Foundation awards a yearly $10,000 scholarship for higher education to a family member of someone employed by our member companies.
